Titanic’s Sweetheart Month

For the entire month of February, the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge is encouraging couples to renew their wedding vows on the Grand Staircase during the celebration of Sweetheart Month.

Romance and adventure were in the air when Titanic set sail on April 10, 1912. Thirteen couples traveling on Titanic were on their honeymoon, nine of whom were in first class. There were also young, brides-to-be sailing to America to begin a new life there. Rose DeWitt Bukater, the fictional, co-star in the Academy Award winning movie TITANIC was among this group.

Experience the power of love and romance this February 2011 during Titanic’s Sweetheart Month. Pay tribute with us to the lasting love of couples everywhere. Vow Renewals are held on the Grand Staircase and presided over by the ship’s Captain Smith, where guests can see the beautiful ceremony. Take your sweetheart and make a unique and memorable marriage proposal at this extravagant location.
